Into the Æther

Recap of “Into The Æther” visual gallery project

Jerry Saltz once wrote that artists are like cats, communicating indirectly. I guess the mystique breaks down in artists talking.

We love legends, but it’s rare we see the drudgery that gets them there. I want to see more journeys in progress. So, I’m sharing more of what I’m making as I try to get closer to a great work, what I’m supposed to make.

Into the Æther” was a 6-image digital gallery designed for large screen viewing. I released this as a time-limited website, with teaser TikToks.

In London, there’s a giant screen outside Tottenham Court Road station that I think is perfect for these dizzying, psychedelic images. I hate sharing this without that high impact large screen, but…here you go!

Here’s a video of the gallery on small desktops.

Before you see the images…know that I have no technical ability, but an immense desire to translate my mind’s eye to visuals. The point for me was in the making: A Process of Processing.
